How to Freeze Waffle Batter
Before you freeze it, you need to make your waffle batter. You’ll need to make the batter specifically for freezing it. Using whatever recipe you use for your waffles, make the batter precisely as the ingredients stipulate, but forego any raising agents.
This is because raising agents, mainly baking powder, will lose their power over time when they sit in your freezer, meaning that the waffles you end up making with that batter won’t rise anywhere near. Instead, they’ll be a little limp.

Transfer the batter to a rigid plastic container, being sure that the container has as little space for excess air as possible. Tap the container on the countertop a few times to eliminate excess air bubbles, and then press out as much excess air as possible from the container.
Seal the container shut, and you’re good to go – the batter can be transferred to the freezer at that point.
Once the waffle batter is in your freezer, it will freeze solid and can be kept there for around two months.

Remove Excess Air
Removing excess air from the container is vital. If you don’t do that, freezer burn can set in more rapidly, which would denature the proteins of the eggs within the batter, leading to your waffles not having as effective structure, which would, of course, be poor for the final eating experience.
